Is the free plan really free forever?
Yes. The free invoice builder requires no account and no payment details. You can create, preview, and download invoices as PDFs as many times as you like, forever, for free. No trial expiry, no watermarks.
Is there a free trial for Pro?
Yes — Pro comes with a 14-day free trial. No payment required until the trial ends. You can cancel at any time before the trial expires and you won't be charged.
Are there any per-invoice fees or transaction fees?
No per-invoice fees, ever. When clients pay online through your invoice, Stripe's standard processing fee applies (typically 1.4% + 20p for UK cards — this is Stripe's fee, not ours). PennaPay charges no additional markup on payments.
Can I cancel Pro at any time?
Yes. Cancel any time from your account settings — no phone calls, no forms. You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period. After that you revert to the free tier; your invoice history and data remain safe.
What payment methods are accepted for Pro?
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe. All billing is in GBP.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your account, invoice history, and client data are retained. You can still log in and view everything — you just lose the ability to create new saved invoices or use Pro features. We don't delete your data when you downgrade.
Do you offer annual billing or discounts?
Not yet — annual billing is on the roadmap. If you're interested, get in touch and we'll let you know when it's available.
