As a consumer purchasing a paid PennaPay plan at a distance, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). This 14-day period runs from the day the contract was concluded.
Because PennaPay is a continuously supplied digital service and you expressly requested at checkout that we begin providing it immediately, your right to withdraw is not extinguished. However, under Forbrugeraftaleloven §25 you must pay a proportionate amount for the service provided up to the point you communicate your withdrawal. We refund the remaining balance to your original payment method without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of the date on which we received notice of your withdrawal (Forbrugeraftaleloven §22 stk. 1). As PennaPay is a digital service, you bear no costs of return or restitution in connection with your withdrawal.
